How do I join?

If you come and worship with us, if you believe that seeking God is important and transformational, and you do that with us, then in many ways you are one of us. Perhaps you live in Ferguson, or other parts of North County, or maybe you live across our metro region, you are one of us if your heart is with us. So, as one of us, we welcome you to worship, study with us in small groups or in our larger worship services. We invite you to find times and places to serve each other and the community with us. You are one of us. We invite you and need you to give of yourself toward the work we are doing that supports our local ministry as well as worldwide ministry through things we do and people we partner with for gospel ministry.

What Our Membership Means

Like many churches we do have a secondary but important definer called “membership”. Membership isn’t like a country club or social club, but it does have definers and benefits. Membership means you identify with our Vision & Mission and you want to commit and be accountable to helping achieve those images and goals. In order to make doctrinal and directional decision, membership is necessary. To teach a class or lead a ministry team, membership is required. Why? Those roles require accountability and commitment to each other and our agreed upon beliefs, vision, and mission. There are places for involvement for anyone but there is understandable accountability for these areas.

If you would like to just attend, and join us as you are able, then please come.

But if you would like to be a Member, then you we have been praying for and expecting you.

What is our Expectation for you? Presence, Passion, Purpose, and Participation.

What are the Steps? You will have made a public profession of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and have followed the decision by being Baptized as a Believer in Jesus Christ. Then, you will be invited to attend a New Members class that we call “In The Flow”. We offer that class periodically or an Elder can meet with you one on one for this class. Also if you are thinking about membership, you can attend this class, with no strings attached, to decide if you want to consider membership. After completing the class, you will make a commitment to our membership covenant that is a commitment to our mission together in the community.
